The 27th IAKS Congress has seen four days of brain food with high-calibre speakers and inspiring interventions from topics such as „Social sustainability: Recreation facilities for All“ and „Innovative models to foster new thinking in recreation facilities“ to „Economic challenges and operational improvements; digitalization and future trends“. Over 340 guests and delegations from 34 countries, plus an additional 85 unique online participants, took the opportunity to find out about current trends in developing healthy and sustainable communities.
For the first time in its decade-long history, the IAKS Congress took place in hybrid format, allowing delegates from all over the world to take part in the congress on design, construction and management of sports and leisure facilities – no matter if they attended in-person or from where they are based.
