IAKS / TAFISA organize Active Spaces Workshop on 11 May

Register now

The workshop „Active Spaces: Fostering Active Communities“ is taking place on Tuesday 11 May 2021, 13:00 - 15:00 (UTC +2) and a unique opportunity for IAKS members. It is the second in the TAFISA Mission 2030 Workshop Series and will emphasise the importance of local action in the fight against physical inactivity and how we can effectively leverage open and public spaces to promote physical activity participation and strengthen social ties within the community.

Speakers from different backgrounds will introduce what it means to build active spaces, share good practices, and provide directions on how the urban environment and the way citizens evolve in it can be sustainably reshaped to offer safe, welcoming, accessible, and inclusive opportunities for people to be physically active and connect with each other.

IAKS is happy to partner with TAFISA and Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) and hopes that many IAKS members can join for what should be a very interesting discussion.
